The Power Box ^TM Cable - 2491B / 6701B

The 6701B Low Smoke Halogen Free (formerly 2491B) LSHF flexible cable to BS 7211 is used in panel, conduit and general fixed wiring applications where there is a requirement for flexibility during installation and in the event of fire, a need to minimise the risk from smoke and toxic fumes but where circuit integrity is not required.

These cables emit less that 0.5% Hydrogen Chloride (HCI) in accordance with BS 6425 part 1 and IEC 60754 part 1.

Cable Conductors are a flexible Class 5 plain annealed stranded copper to BS 6360.

Cable insulation is low smoke halogen free (LSHF) compound type E1.5 to BS 7655 in accordance with BS 6425 part 1 (IEC 60754-1). Flame retardant to BS 4066 Parts 1 and 2 (IEC 60332-1)

Available in sizes 0.5 to 240.0 mm2

Cable insulation colours :-
Up to 6mm - black, red, brown, blue, white, grey, violet, pink, orange, yellow, green / yellow.
10 mm and above - Black only.

1.5 to 240.0 mm² 450/750V ac

Operating temperature: -10^oC to +90^oC
